Love as a Circle

What if we saw love not as a transaction, but as a circle, endless, expansive, and ever-returning? Could that shift open us to offer love more freely, without expectation?
So often, even unconsciously, we measure our emotional investments. If I pour this much energy into a friend, we think, I hope they’ll match it. It’s natural, but when love becomes something we track, fairness turns into a measuring stick. And when it's not “equal,” resentment or frustration can quietly grow.
But what if we simply gave love, freely, generously, trusting that it will come back to us, not necessarily from the same person or in the same form, but in unexpected, beautiful ways? A rainbow arcing over your house after a long day. A neighbor arriving at your door with freshly cut flowers. A warm, knowing smile from the cashier when you need it most.
Love, when offered with open hands, has a way of finding its way home.
